Happy Body Reviews
“RUN, don’t walk, to see Kathy for all pelvic floor needs. She is fantastic and makes you feel incredibly comfortable with any and all treatments. In just three sessions I have seen a noticeable change in my body and have learned so much about how to help it properly heal postpartum (and beyond). I am really looking forward to seeing what my body is capable of with her continued guidance. In addition to pelvic floor, Kathy has helped me with some significant hip discomfort. She truly looks at the body holistically and wants her patients to have the best quality of life!”

“I had 2 babies in 17 months. The end of my second pregnancy was horrible. I was unable to walk without crutches due to terrible SI joint pain. I was unable to pick up my toddler. I stopped working clinical shifts because of the pain. 2 weeks postpartum I was given the true gift of Kathy visiting my home, and providing true care and compassion to me and my healing body. She took me from a limping, asymmetrical gait and lack of urine control to a confident body that feels good and doesn't pee my pants!! Not only did she heal my body, she was a gift to my soul. Postpartum can be a lonely time, and Kathy was there to surround me in love and comfort and support. I trust her, and sing her praises to every pregnant/new mom I meet. She also did some visits with my husband who developed plantar fasciitis after our #2 was born, and she saw my father who was suffering from an acute on chronic back pain flare during his visit to meet the new baby. My dad still raves about how wonderful she was to him. I am a physician and wholeheartedly recommend Kathy to any human!!”

“Kathy is a phenomenal pelvic floor therapist. As a healthcare provider, she is the perfect mix of competent and compassionate. She has her own space that feels calm and safe, and you get to work with Kathy for the full hour without interruptions. It is a big difference compared to getting pelvic floor PT in a broader general PT practice. Most importantly, I learned a lot working with her and my pain is reduced!!”
— Isabel, abdominal and pelvic pain
“Due to some issues after prostate surgery. I contacted Happy Body Physical Therapy. Kathy, a physical therapist and owner, knew exactly what to do to help me. It worked! I highly recommend anyone having prostate issues to make an appointment with Happy Body Physical Therapy.”
— Victor M, male client
“Attending Physical Therapy sessions with Kathy during my postpartum recovery was one of the best things I did for myself. Through her sessions I felt empowered as I learned and reconnected with my body and felt confident when engaging in some of my favorite exercises and activities again. Her support, guidance and encouragement allowed me to be patient with the process, take things slow and move with awareness. I highly recommend Physical Therapy sessions with Kathy for women who are healing from pregnancy and birth. Feeling physically supported during this journey with Kathy put my mind at ease and helped make me feel whole again.”

Kathy is a LIFESAVER and has a true gift. As a physician and avid climber/skier/etc., I believe that pelvic PT should be a part of all postpartum care, and it sadly is not. I wish I had known about it and specifically about Kathy with my first pregnancy. My friend told me about Kathy during my second pregnancy, and I began to see her during my second week postpartum. She was honest, professional, compassionate, thorough, and overall incredible. She came to my home because it is difficult to have time to leave the house with a newborn. She was masked, and used gloves and appropriate sanitation for her equipment. She helped me strengthen my pelvic floor, and heal my diastasis recti. She created a plan of exercises to achieve this, and to allow me to safely return to my beloved activities. She emphasized that I needed rest for healing, and kept me in check when I wanted to return to certain activities too soon. She educated me that many women suffer lower back injuries due to returning to intense activities too soon with a weak core. I CANNOT RECOMMEND HER ENOUGH. I looked forward to all of her visits, and felt that I was in the best hands possible for my postpartum healing.
— Dr. SS, postpartum
“After working with a couple PTs without many results I found Kathy and it was a world of difference. I had severe back issues from pregnancy with my daughter and was pregnant with my son. Through a combination of mechanical (not sure that’s the right word) maneuvers and strengthening exercises she helped me survive pregnancy and post-partum back issues. She’s now my go-to PT for all issues.”
— Stephanie G, mother of 2
“Kathy is amazing! You will not regret going to her private office. She was able to show me how to help myself without medication. She can help your whole body, not just one area. She has lived here over 20 years and is so knowledgeable about our female bodies.”
— CW, post-menopausal with urinary urgency/frequency
